Jenny on a Personal Level

Jenny's numerous rich and varied life experiences has taught her the joys of living life to its fullest.

Jenny's ardent love for life spreads into every aspect of how she lives, from her artistic pursuits to her concern for sociocultural issues. She occupies her free time with tennis, piano-playing, photography, hiking, biking, and kayaking. Jenny enjoys many pursuits and cherishes time with her loved ones.


Jenny currently resides in an old, renovated Victorian cottage in the heart of New Orleans. After her office flooded during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Jenny transformed the calamitous loss into the opportunity to expand her rewarding career as a professional coach from a regional to a national scale. She has also worked as a self-employed counselor, consultant, psychotherapist, a faculty member in the College of Medicine at LSU University, an administrator, a community developer, and a tennis professional who set up programs and educated individuals and teams throughout the South.

Just after graduating college, Jenny expressed her passion for culture and community issues by writing music and event-related articles for travel publications. More recently, she has spent months in outreach counseling with Hurricane Katrina evacuees in Austin, Texas, where she received a merit award from that city for her efforts.
